UX@UA + Friends of Figma Tucson is hosting a drop-in session where you can get personalized feedback on your portfolio and resume from industry experts. Bring your portfolio, or resume, or both to the meetup!
Portfolio prep
Present a short show-and-tell on your UX portfolio to get feedback from the audience. These casual presentations aim to help you practice effective professional storytelling during job interviews.
Spend a few minutes and talk about one or two projects, then answer any questions from the audience. We’ll set up a presenting laptop in the meetup space, so you only need to come with a link to the portfolio you’d like to share.
Resume review
In the same space, we’ll host a resume review session with industry professionals in design, UX research, content strategy, and web development. Bring your resume, pick a reviewer, and get ideas to make your resume better!
Networking begins at 5pm, and the program will start at 5:30pm. Food and light refreshments will be served. We'll be in the Data Studio in the lobby of the UA Main Library. We welcome people from all professional backgrounds to join. No prior experience in UX needed.
