Robert Winters, Design Strategist
Robert is a seasoned design strategist with over 15 years of experience guiding tech startups from ideation to funding, production, or acquisition. He specializes in service design for mission-critical SaaS solutions, combining strategic insight with hands-on expertise. Robert practices what he preaches. Alongside his consulting work, he also operates Gloriacare, a marketplace in the Belgian healthcare sector.

Talk 2: Hops, Hiccups and Hallucinations: Tips for designing great AI experiences for end users
Tomas Staelens, Chief Technology Officer Campfire AI
Tomas is the CTO and Managing Partner of Campfire AI, a Brussels-based conversational AI consulting company. He works with clients around the globe and has built or overseen the development of +100 chatbots, voicebots and AI agents. His current passion project is developing a voice AI product that aims to improve accessibility for Belgian citizens.
Tomas will present "Hops, Hiccups and Hallucinations: Tips for designing great AI experiences for end users," covering approaches to designing effective AI bots for optimal user experiences. The presentation will address common challenges in AI interaction design, including handling unexpected system responses, managing user expectations, and creating more intuitive interfaces. Tomas will share practical methods for improving AI user experiences, drawing from real-world examples and lessons learned in the field. The talk will focus on actionable design principles that can be applied when developing AI systems for end users.
