Talk 1: Facsimile: On Flemish Primitives and the next dimension of experience.
Jan Huysmans, Experience Designer @November Five

In his talk, Jan will explain how he believes we’re moving beyond the era of screens, into a new dimension of experience, characterized by high-fidelity "facsimiles" of reality, intelligence, and interaction. He will cross-reference the work of a well-known Flemish painter to illustrate this quite radical transformation and our need to build these new and profound experiences.

Talk 2: Expectations: the mother of all frustrations or the key to success?
Alexander Cafmeyer, Service Design and ITSM leader

Expectations are a constant in everyone’s life, both personally and professionally. For UX/UI professionals, managing expectations is an integral part of the job — whether they come from users, clients, or internal stakeholders.
In this talk, Alexander draws on his experience as an IT consultant and former business lawyer to explore the nature of expectations, how they differ among stakeholders, and how to navigate them effectively. He will also share how Service Design methodology has deepened his understanding of this topic, and how AI is transforming what is considered “added-value work.”
