On the 28th of June, UX for Change and Triibe are teaming up with the Not Entirely Dead (NED) Community, led by the aspirational Eason Yang!

When he received his Cancer diagnosis, Eason had been a Creative Leader for over 15 years for companies like Ogilvy, Uber and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Once he was deemed "No evidence of disease" by his doctors, he found that reconnecting to his post-cancer career was as formidable a challenge as going through treatment had been. Employers were reluctant to hire someone with the gap cancer left in his resume.

Eason then launched the social enterprise NED and is a fierce advocate for those people who’ve had interruptions in their life and helping them to get back on track.

This event aims to provide expert advice to the community from a Talent Partner and Hiring Manager's perspective on how to get interviews and get back into work.

Our panel will be hosted by the talented Design-Thinking Leader, Rochelle Dancel and we’ll be joined by a team of Talent Partners and Hiring Managers including:

  • Michael Oliver, Senior Talent Acquisition - Swift
  • Mireille Ghercioiu, Tech Recruiter - Liquidbase
  • Jen Kinnear- Founder of Triibe Talent
  • Alex Smailes, UX Manager - Esri
  • Jon Benallick, Lead Product Designer - Coca-Cola, Kraft Heinz, L'Oreal

The event will be purely for NED community members but if you’ve experienced periods of extended leave or health conditions that have made returning to work challenging, please send a request to Nao@triibetalent.com

Thanks,

Nao x
