Workshop to Redefine UX & IA to Support Families Effected by Childhood Cancer

Details
For our first Tampa event, we are very excited to be partnering with UX Tampa Bay, and Hope4ATRT on World Usability Day.
https://www.hope4atrt.org/
Hope4ATRT is local Tampa charity lead by Dr. Kosj & Jaymi Yamoah who launched the charity after losing their young son Zion whose life was cut short by a very rare and aggressive brain tumour known as Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (AT/RT).
Hope4ATRT are looking for some support to help better the IA and user journeys whilst giving the families they are supporting better access to their resources.
We will be running this session as an interactive online workshop with the support of our event partner Vsummits and lead by the UX Tampa Bay team, where we will be taken through a 3-hour design workshop and work together to come up with creative solutions to support the charity.
There are limited places available for this workshop and it is very important you can commit to the full session as the final presentations at the end are the most vital stage for the charity.
As we are expecting more applications than we have spaces, please submit your interest and let us know why you want to attend, we will let you know if you will be joining us on the evening.

About World Usability Day
World Usability Day is a single day of events occurring around the world that brings together communities of professional, industrial, educational, citizen, and government groups for our common objective: to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.
It is about celebration and education—celebrating the strides we have made in creating usable products and educating the masses about how usability impacts our daily lives. It is about making our world work better. It is about reaching out to the common citizen and spreading the message: We don’t have to put up with products and services that don’t work well and that human error is a misnomer.
No one should have to suffer through products and services that get in their way. People should not be made to feel stupid by technology.
