UX Speakeasy Design Sprint

Welcome to Ux Speakeasy! We are thrilled to have you join us for a fun and interactive evening of design. In January we all had fun making mockups for a Rockpointvt.com mobile app. February's event will be a little different!

For this event, we will be focusing on low-fidelity design techniques and not using technology such as laptops, unlike in our previous sprint. Teams will have access to materials such as pens, markers, whiteboards, paper, and sticky notes.

If you are passionate about user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, this event is perfect for you - regardless of your level of experience. Once a month, we will be breaking out into teams to tackle a basic 1-hour design sprint for a local app, website, or even something more obscure like a Burlington public transit map.

After the hour is up, each team will present their design to the rest of the group, giving you the opportunity to receive feedback and suggestions from your peers.

This event is not only a great chance to improve your design skills and practice your own design process, but it's also a fantastic opportunity to network and make new connections with other designers and UI/UX fans in the Burlington area.

Remember, this event is just for learning purposes, so please be friendly and respectful to one another. We welcome designers of all levels to join us and can't wait to see what you come up with. Let's create some amazing designs together!
