UX writing in Switzerland: The current landscape – Hybrid event Zurich/online

In Switzerland, UX writing is still in its infancy. But that is about to change: Awareness of this new discipline is growing rapidly – in the UX industry as well as in marketing/communications, where UX writing is currently establishing itself as an indispensable profession.

Together with her team at The Gondola, Switzerland’s UX writing competence centre, Kira has investigated the UX writing market in Switzerland. In her talk, she will present the results of her quantitative survey and share insights from interviews and workshops with 150+ professionals: from start-up to large-scale enterprise, from agency to university and all the places in between where UX writing is starting to take root.

Speaker
Kira Leuthold is a UX writer and founder of The Gondola, Switzerland's UX writing competence centre. The Gondola runs training and development courses on UX writing and supports organisations in creating outstanding digital experiences through human-centred communication. Kira teaches UX writing at various universities, including the ZHAW and FHGR, and is an active member of UX Switzerland, where she is working to establish the UX writing profession in Switzerland. She holds a Master's degree in Corporate Communications and Business Informatics.
