We are accustomed to seeking out information in digital spaces with expectations we will find what we are looking for. As a general rule, people don’t have much patience when it comes to poor information finding. When information is easy to find, information architecture activities likely informed the design.
In this equipping presentation, Diane will answer the questions:

➤ Is IA different from Content Strategy?
➤ How do I successfully "do" IA?
Attendees will leave with a list of useful IA resources, from books to tools.
About Our Speaker
Diane Bowen is a Product Designer who studies users to understand needs, motivations and behaviors. She designs products tailored to user needs and aligned with strategic business goals.
Diane's personal mission is to help people improve their lives. She earned a M.S. in User Experience Design from Kent State University and a B.S. in Psychology from Michigan State University. She served as an Intervention Counselor before her career in Product Design.
Diane lives in Michigan with two cats and her husband, Rick.
