About our Speakers

Tricia Spayer is a Certified Professional Technical Communicator. She has 27 years of experience in technical writing and illustration for Pressco Technology Inc. in Solon, Ohio. She administers a content management system and manages translations for her manuals into 14 languages. Tricia has served on the Board of Directors for the Society for Technical Communication (STC), and is a Fellow in STC.

Dan Minder is a computer / network technician at Stark State College in North Canton, and a graduate of Kent State University's UX Design program. He saw a need for clear, concise documentation that fits his organization's infrastructure, and has composed several internal manuals that help simplify hardware and software configuration. He serves as a board member for UX Akron.
