Photo Walk: Black Mountain in B&W

The summer heat is now in our rear-view mirrors, so it's time to get back out for some fall photo walks!

It's hard to believe that it's been five years since we've done an event in Black Mountain, and the weekend forecast is looking fantastic! (prediction of 80 degrees and sunny for this Sunday).

And, the last time we did a "black and white" theme in Black Mountain was in 2017, so I think we're due to revisit that theme. Why not?

This photo walk will be a casual stroll around town, doing our best to "see in B&W". Of course, you will likely be photographing everything digitally in color, but the trick is to think ahead as to what that image will look like in monochrome (which can include contrast adjustments with whatever app you are using to process your photos).

You are, of course, welcome to photograph anything you want on the walk, but when posting to the event photo gallery, you must stick to the theme. (Thanks!)

All skill levels and camera models are welcome.

As usual, after the walk, those interested in hanging around for a beer are all welcome!
