En Valencia hay café buenísimo y gente que sabe muchísimo de esto. Lo que no había era un sitio donde juntarse a hablar de ello sin que fuera una clase ni una tienda.
Así que lo montamos.
Nos juntamos cada dos semanas en Valencia, un par de horas, alrededor de una mesa con café bueno. Unas veces hay algo preparado, una cata a ciegas, un tostador invitado, un método nuevo que probar. Otras cada quien trae su bolsa favorita y se comparte. Lo que no cambia es que el café es de verdad y que se viene a hablar.
Aquí hay gente que lleva diez años en el sector y gente que compró su primera V60 el mes pasado. Unos vienen a aprender, otros a conocer a alguien con quien trabajar, otros simplemente porque les gusta el café y no tienen con quién comentarlo.
No hace falta saber nada. Se aprende probando y preguntando, que es como se aprende esto.
No es un curso. No es una cafetería. Es una mesa con café bueno y gente con ganas de hablar de él.

☕ Specialty Coffee Valencia
Taste. Learn. Talk.
Valencia has great coffee and people who know a lot about it. What it didn't have was a place to sit down and talk about it — without it being a class or a shop.
So we made one.
We meet every two weeks at Turia Park for a couple of hours around a table with good coffee. Sometimes there's something planned: a blind tasting, a guest roaster, a new brewing method. Other times everyone brings their favourite bag and we share it. What doesn't change is that the coffee is real and that we're here to talk.
Some people here have ten years in the industry. Others bought their first V60 last month. Some come to learn, some to meet people to work with, some just because they like coffee and have no one to talk about it with.
No coffee knowledge needed. You learn by tasting and asking.
Not a course. Not a café. Just a table with good coffee and people who want to talk about it.
