BETERÓ THRIFT: Discover Valencia's Legendary FLEA MARKET & Its Unique Barrio

Let's discover Rastro de Valencia in its special Beteró neighborhood!
It's a modest flea market with a storied history full of fun and wtf finds.Rastro de Valencia operates every Sunday from 9:00 until 14/2:00PM so you are welcome to check it out whenever works best for your schedule.
We'll meet at 09:30 AM outside Estación de Cabañal and wanderlust around the surrounding area together for about an hour to reach the market in time for some thrifting.
This event is FREE. I am not affiliated with the market itself nor any of its vendors. At the end, the host might pass the hat for welcome donations but the point is to discover a new barrio and thrift away :)

Street artists @Lyly_Arte and fashion journalist Alexey Timbul invite you to a cool workshop where you can use paints & stencils to decorate your own clothing and check out a brief lecture on history of print in fashion ... all in the golden light of a Cabanyal sunset!@Lyly_Arte is a street artist who over the course of the last 15 years has become a beloved fixture of the local art scene. Guaranteed, her work(s) have popped up in your friends' insta-Stories already!
Alexey Timbul has taught fashion media at International Fashion Academy in Paris and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In Valencia, he is on the jury of CLEC Fashion Festival, the annual new talent platform.
We'll meet and work in the beautiful plaza outside Lyly's home/studio!
Bring your curiosity and some clothes you'd like to experiment with :)
Lyly will provide all the tools and paints & Alexey will provide inspiration.This event is FREE. However, participants are encouraged to contribute to Lyly's fundraiser "Save the Colors of Cabanyal" to help her preserve an informal community center in the neighborhood.
We'll be able to also check out a few of Lyly's murals that we covered during the previous street art walkshop last month.
