FASHION COLLAGE: Museum Exhibition & Coffeeshop Workshop

Do you like fashion? How about crafts? What if we did both?!

Join me to check out the Paper & Fashion exhibition at Centro Artesania Valenciana which highlights the relationship between the traditional paper mills and artisans in the Valencian town Banyeres de Mariola.

We'll start at the Center and proceed to a fabulous nearby coffeeshop for a one-hour workshop on fashion collage. No experience is necessary. All materials will be provided. Just bring your imagination and enthusiasm. You'll learn about this artform & create your own piece.

The event is FREE. Donations are welcome at the end but the point is to enjoy our own creativity while discovering Valencian fashion heritage.

ALEXEY TIMBUL has covered Eastern European fashion weeks for Forbes and taught fashion media at IFA Paris and the Academy of Art University in San Francisco (the only accredited fashion journalism program in the United States). He is also on the jury of CLEC Fashion Festival for emergent talent in the City of Arts & Sciences in Valencia.

The Artesania Center is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 until 15:30 in case you'd like to check it out later at your own convenience.
