What we’re about
Hello fellow Valley Jeepsters!!! Are you looking to have fun adventures with your Jeep? We are a group of family friendly off-road enthusiasts who love rock crawling, scenic desert drives, overlanding, camping and doing everything in between with a Jeep!
We run trails suitable for every type of Jeep, from leisurely desert drives to some of the most challenging trails we can find.
In addition to the local trails, we do 3-to-5-day trips around Arizona and beyond. Want to take your Jeep to the Rubicon Trail, Moab or perhaps the Black Bear Pass in Colorado? Want to ride all the cool Badge of Honor trails? Are you interested in Overlanding? Come join us then!
Although we are a laid-back group, there are couple of rules that you must abide by:
- Our group is for Jeep owners ONLY! Sorry, Bronco IS NOT a Jeep.
- You will be required to sign a liability waiver on the first run you do with us. Off-Roading, like all sports have inherent risks and dangers. All participants (on behalf of him or herself and his/her minor children) are responsible for their own safety during events, voluntarily accepts any and all risks of injury, harm, medical conditions, or property damage
- This is a family friendly group. As such, recreational shooting is not allowed while on the trail with us.
- Don’t drink & drive. Having a beer at lunch is OK. Getting wasted on the trails not only endangers you but everyone else around you.
- Getting a flat tire on the trail is very common! Make sure to always carry a spare.
- When on the trail always remember to T.R.E.A.D. Lightly
- Travel and recreate with minimal impact.
- Respect the environment and the rights of others.
- Educate yourself, plan and prepare before you go.
- Allow for future use of the outdoors, leave it better than you found it.
- Discover the rewards of responsible recreation.
If you can abide by the rules above, then click the join link and we’ll see you on the trail.
Let’s escape the Valley oven for a few hours and conquer Harquahala Peak Trail in Arizona! This historic and scenic trail climbs to over 5,600 feet, offering stunning desert views, technical switchbacks, and a rewarding summit featuring the old Smithsonian solar observatory. Whether you're a seasoned trail veteran or looking for a challenging and fun ride on a Sunday afternoon, this Adventure promises excitement, camaraderie, and breathtaking panoramas. Pack your gear, bring your camera, and get ready for a day of adventure on one of Arizona’s most scenic offroad trails!
This used to be an easy trail last time I ran it about 5 years ago. It looks like the erosion has taken its toll and it has now been upgraded to Intermediate. Towards the top it gets a bit rocky, narrow and steep but nothing that your Jeep can’t handle. The trail is 10 miles long to the top and then we come back down 10 miles the same way.
As always, please arrive with a full tank of gas at the designated meeting spot and be ready for a prompt departure. If you’re running late, please let us know by posting or messaging in the Meetup App. If your plans change and you’re unable to attend, please promptly remove yourself from the event so that others on the standby list can take your place.
We will Meet at the Harquahala Mountain Staging Area, see link below:

This one is much more laid back and is only limited to 150 attendees and 25 Jeeps per trail! The event costs $300 and includes three hot breakfasts, an ice cream party, and a hot dinner and giveaway on Saturday night, all hosted at the Moab Rim RV Park.
Registration starts TOMORROW JUNE 9th at 9:00 AM Arizona time. It fills up really fast, usually within a couple of hours so I would recommend setting your alarm/reminder for this one! I will post which trails I picked in the Meetup Chat as soon as I get them so you can pick the same ones if you like. Obviously, my priority is to get the following new BOH trails: Wipe Out Hill, Lost World and Kane Creek Canyon

IT'S NOT WHAT YOU THINK and Yes, we are still a very family friendly group! 😊 The event is put together by a local 4x4 Club in Vegas and is an awesome extended weekend getaway Adventure that attracts hundreds of attendees each year! We get to enjoy three days of off-roading on trails of various difficulty from laid back level 3 all the way to 8. Between trail runs they’ll keep us fed and entertained with vendor booths, spectator events and a concert! This is also a great family friendly event with activities scheduled for kids of all ages.
Registration is $85 per vehicle plus another $40 to $75 camping fee (per the entire event). You can bring your RV, rooftop tent or just a regular ol’ ground tent. Closest hotel is NorthShore Inn , about 10 minutes’ drive from the fairgrounds if you don’t want to rough it out.
Registration opens August 23rd and trails will fill up FAST so make sure to set a calendar reminder for youself!!
Register here so I know you're coming then you MUST ALSO REGISTER at the HUMP-N-BUMP website, link below:
For our last Adventure that weekend, assuming our Jeeps are still operational and we have the energy, we will conquer Rocky Gap Badge of Honor Trail on Sunday morning just with Valley Jeepsters.
Last year, we had 5 Valley Jeepsters attending this Adventure and it was an absolute blast. The food, the trails the people, the activities, it was by far THE BEST Club sponsored event I’ve ever attended!!!
Since the Hump N Bump is back to back with Mojave Overlanding Adventure, I will spend the week of November 2nd in Laughlin instead of making a 4-hour drive there and back. I will be staying at the AVI casino. The casino hotel is less than $50/night with taxes during the week! If you plan on doing both Adventures, you’re welcome to join me there. It’d be a working remote week for me but I’m usually done by 3:00sh so we can hit couple of trails around Laughlin during the week in late afternoons!
Event Type: Third Party Extended Weekend Event
Difficulty: 3-8 Trails of various difficulty levels.
Camping: YES. Camping and RV spots are available for a nominal fee.
AZ Pinstriping: Minimal
Age Restrictions: None, Families with kids of all ages are welcome
Jeep Requirements: Stock Jeep and above depending on the trails chosen.
Equipment Requirements: Spare Tire, inflation/deflation tools, sense of adventure
Radio: GMRS Channel #15 - Mojave Road Overlanding AdventureLaughlin, Bullhead City, AZ
Embark on an unforgettable 2 day off-road journey through the rugged and breathtaking landscapes of the Mojave Desert. Our Overlanding Adventure will take you across 140 miles of remote, unpaved trails, where you’ll conquer long sandy washes, rocky passes, and scenic river crossings. Along the way, discover hidden relics of the Old West, Native American petroglyphs, and abandoned outposts that tell the story of pioneers who once braved this untamed land. Get ready to test your skills, soak in the beauty of endless desert vistas, and camp under a sky filled with millions of stars and create memories that will last a lifetime!
Most of the trip is easy but few locations will require four-wheel drive. We will start in Laughlin, NV and finish near Barstow, CA. We will be camping one night on this trip with an optional night at the end of the trail (Afton Campground). Please book accommodations in Laughlin, NV the night before for an early start the next morning! We will be crossing into California, please make sure to follow ALL California rules regarding firearms possession!
Good guides include Mojave Road Guide, by Dennis G. Gasebier, Mojave Desert Heritage and cultural Association, and Tails Illustrated map 256 – Mojave National Preserve.
This is a multi-day Adventure without access to modern amenities such as bathrooms, food or water. You must be self-sufficient and bring your own supplies! A lot of preparation goes into putting these types of trips together which requires accurate headcount. If you sign up and your plans change, please remove yourself AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. Furthermore, no shows will risk expulsion from Valley Jeepsters!!!
