5-6 mile walk along North Laguna Creek Preserve.

The walk begins in the shopping center (8265 Laguna Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95758) with La-Z-Boy Furniture Center and Sprouts. There is plenty of parking. We will start at the path entrance to the left of the La-Z-Boy store at 8265 Laguna Blvd. There are benches and a small pergola – we will meet there.

This is an out-and-back walk on a trail that runs along North Laguna Creek. The 5–6-mile walk is mostly flat with some small inclines, on a paved and dirt path, that is mostly in the sun.

We will walk 2.5-3.0 miles along the creek to North Laguna Creek Park and turn around and come back (total of 5-6 miles). There are no toilets along the walk, but restrooms are available at the stores in the shopping center and at North Laguna Creek Park (halfway point). Bring a water bottle and wear comfortable walking shoes.
