3.5-4.0 mile walk starting at Jeanne & Jerry Strong Park, Elk Grove

This is an out-and-back walk. The walk starts at Jeanne & Jerry Strong Park and we will turn around at Wyland Drive and walk back to the park. We will walk around the park and then walk along the paved pathway that runs along the electric transmission lines and towers. It is a beautiful quiet walk in between neighborhoods and open fields. The path is flat and mostly paved, a small section is dirt.
There are toilets at the Jeanne & Jerry Strong Park, but nowhere else along the route. Also, there is limited shade along this path, so wear sunscreen and/or a hat. Please bring water and wear comfortable shoes for walking on a paved/dirt surface.
