What we’re about

This groups is for DJs and music producers of the electronica bent in the GVA to get together, hang out, bullshit about 'the Scene', share playlists, talk smack about hardware & software, and generally build some solid networks that will support and encourage good music being played for good crowds in Vancouver.

Join up if you're passionate about your tech, your breaks, your trance and your prog. Stand up if you rave about your rave, you get up on your hip hop, and you rock your pop top40s. (Dubstep will be tolerated. Gabber may not.) ;-)

Ableton? CuBase? Something else...? Break out of the bedroom studio and expose your tunes and sets to constructive feedback and creative input.

In the beginning we'll get together at bars somewhere in the city in a semi-regular basis, sink a few brews, and share war stories, tips & general experience.
The plan, I think, would then be to have people organise their own little get-togethers for your own mixing or production sessions, tune-swaps, demo exchanges, or whatever you like, really.
If things go really well, we could even organise some events.

So get out of your bedrooms and basements! Get off your fat, cumulative asses, flick your headphones off and slide the volume up to max with total debonair confidence!
