Let's paint at Spanish Banks!

Let's meet at the Spanish Banks West Concession Stand. This is the concession stand closest to Wreck Beach, not Lacarno Beach.

This spot offers a variety of painting options, from mountain, beach and city views, to activity at the concession stand or nearby trees and a little stream. One of the Pacific Spirit Trail entrances is nearby if you'd like to walk up and along the Admirals Trail to immerse yourself in the forest or to find a vantage point of the mountains and ocean below.

We'll meet at 11am by the tables near the West Concession Stand, then go our separate ways to paint or sketch, and meet again at 2:00 pm to share our work. If you come late, just join one of us or meet us back at the west concession stand at 2:00.

I'm bringing my oil paints and easel, but please feel free to bring watercolours or any other medium you wish. All levels of experience are welcome.

Come dressed for the weather, bring a chair and whatever else will make you comfortable in whatever the weather might be that day. I look forward to seeing you there!
