Draw and Paint at Burnaby Mountain Park at Dusk

Details
Burnaby Mountain Park is a spectacular green space offering a rose garden, playground and picnic sites, plus sculptures, scenic city and sea inlet views, and forested trails.
Bring an easel or a folding chair or stool or just enjoy one of the many scenic benches or picnic tables there. The forecast is for nice weather, and some of us are hoping to paint a sunset at this spectacular location. Bring your drawing and painting supplies, which can be as simple as a pencil and paper. You can bring whatever art supplies and media you prefer.
There are some spectacular views here!
Since we're finishing near dusk, it may be a good idea to bring an optional flashlight or a headlamp for this one.
We'll meet at the picnic area 75 metres east of the big Canadian flag at 6:00 p.m., and then spread out, and return to meet to share our work at dusk at 9:00 p.m. *bring flashlights*.
Washrooms are nearby.
Parking is pretty good, and it's free, but maybe give yourself a little extra time by arriving a bit early to find a spot, prior to meeting at the picnic area.
If you decide to take transit, please remember it will probably involve a half-hour walk via a forest trail in the dark after 9:00 p.m. Just so you know.
See you at Burnaby Mountain Park!
