DIFFICULT HIKE
Join us as we hike to the top of Elk Mountain, where we will have a spectacular view of Chilliwack, Cultus Lake, and the surrounding Fraser Valley area, including the Border Peaks and the United States. We will continue on to a viewpoint halfway to Thurston Mountain. Sections of the hike will be quite steep so hiking poles are recommended. Should be a great day! After the hike, if people are interested, we will go get a drink/bite to eat in Chilliwack nearby.
Length: 10 km round trip
Elevation Gain – 800 metres
Hiking time – 4-5 hours
