The Five Dysfunctions of a Team

Details

Summary
The Five Dysfunctions of a Team is one of those timeless frameworks—simple to grasp, but often challenging to truly live by. In this session, we'll unpack each dysfunction, explore how they connect and compound one another, and discuss their impact on team performance. More importantly, we'll work together on practical ways to overcome them, with a focus on building psychological safety as the foundation for stronger collaboration and healthier, more effective teams.

About the Speaker
Alon Sabi is an Engineering Leader at Quandri, where he heads platform development, shapes R&D culture, and coaches managers in building collaborative, high-performing teams. With over two decades of experience, he’s held senior leadership roles across companies like Breadstack, Galvanize, and Function Point, guiding teams through rapid growth, scaling infrastructure, and aligning technology with business strategy. As a founder, he also built SREDify, a SaaS platform streamlining government tax credit programs. Alon is passionate about leadership, team culture, and translating complex technical challenges into clear, practical solutions—while continuously fostering environments where both people and technology can thrive.
