Agentic Engineering is changing what engineering teams do every day, but the playbook hasn't been written yet. There are many ways to adopt it and just as many ways to hold back, which breeds anxiety and uncertainty on teams. That lands on the engineering manager, whose plate is already full with delivery expectations shaped by the promise that AI will transform the profession.

This talk offers a way through: helping engineers grow accountability alongside responsibility, and looking hard at the manager's own craft to decide what stays with people leaders and what the whole team should share, because it applies just as well to orchestrating agents.
