Do people look up to you, in more ways that one? Do you stand a head and shoulders above the rest? Does the thought of clothes shopping make you cringe? Then Vancouver Tall Club is the place for you!
What is the Vancouver Tall Club?
VTC is a social club for people who are taller than your average person, and is intended to provide a range of social activities where members can finally get away from the "you're so tall" comments and hang out with people closer to their own size.
What are the height requirements?
Men must be at least 6'2"/188 cm and women must be at least 5'10"/178 cm to join.
What kind of events do you have?
We run many different kinds of activities like pub nights, snowshoeing, dancing, karaoke, games nights, restaurants, museum visits and everything in between. Many events are in Vancouver but we're expanding to include places elsewhere in the Lower Mainland. Have an idea of your own or not seeing an event you'd like? Contact one of the organizers and we'll help set it up.
What do I have to do to join?
You must be 19+ and meet or exceed the above height requirements. Simply create a free meetup account and send a request to join. ***Please make sure to include your height and post a clear profile photo of yourself (for security reasons) as we will not approve you otherwise.***
How much does it cost?
There are no fees for this group, but all events are pay-your-own-way (though not all events cost money to attend).
