Vancouver UFO Meetup: Ancient Civilizations, Lost Technology & ET Contact
Details
Did ancient civilizations possess advanced technology—or receive knowledge from non-human intelligences?
Around the world we find remarkable sites that continue to puzzle archaeologists and engineers: the Great Pyramids of Egypt, Baalbek in Lebanon, Puma Punku and Tiwanaku in Bolivia, the Nazca Lines in Peru, Göbekli Tepe in Turkey, and many others. Some researchers argue that these achievements may point to lost technologies, forgotten civilizations, or even interaction with extraterrestrial visitors.
At this Meetup we'll examine some of the most intriguing evidence and discuss questions such as:
- Could ancient civilizations have been far more advanced than we realize?
- Is there evidence that non-human intelligences influenced human development?
- Were myths of the "gods" inspired by real encounters?
- What can modern archaeology explain, and what remains a mystery?
- Could ancient knowledge help us understand today's UFO phenomenon?
We'll look at different perspectives—from mainstream archaeology to alternative theories—and have an open, respectful discussion. Whether you're convinced, skeptical, or simply curious, your questions and ideas are welcome.

There is no pressure to speak. Listening is always welcome.

Books, Announcements & Social Time
We'll wrap up with book recommendations, announcements, upcoming events, and an opportunity to get out of your chairs, mingle, and get to know one another.
Our goal is not to convince anyone what to believe. Instead, we encourage respectful discussion, open-minded curiosity, and critical thinking as we explore one of humanity's greatest mysteries.
Whether you're completely new to the subject or have been studying UFOs for years, you'll find a welcoming group of people who enjoy thoughtful conversation.
Everyone is welcome. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, Aug. 13, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
