Description: We will join our friends from the Surrey Trekkers Walking Club today for a walk at Rocky Point in Port Moody. The walk is mostly along Shoreline Trail, as well as through residential streets around Burrard Inlet. Situated along the picturesque shores of Burrard Inlet, Rocky Point Park in Port Moody stands out as one of the most breathtaking parks in the lower mainland. The Shoreline Trail presents an effortless walking experience, winding around the easternmost stretch of Burrard Inlet, taking in the views from the pier at Rocky Point Park and wandering through Old Orchard
Park.
Start Location: The Runners Den, 239 Newport Drive
If taking transit, take the Skytrain Millennium Line, stop at Inlet Centre Station and walk 10 minutes (700 metres) to start point.
Register (sign in) at the start point between 9:30 am and 9:45 am. The walk will start at 10:00 am sharp. Please be on time; we do not wait for latecomers.
Please note: Although the number of attendees indicated on this page may appear low, be assured that you will be walking with many club members who have not RSVP’d. We rarely have fewer than 15 participants at any of our walks.
