Meet at 10:00 a.m. at Klineline Pond Park near the baseball fields and restrooms. From there we’ll walk together onto the Salmon Creek Greenway Trail and follow the paved path along Salmon Creek and the wetlands as it winds through the corridor behind nearby neighborhoods.

We’ll continue along the trail to cover the full out-and-back route, turning around at the far end and returning the same way. The total distance is approximately 5 miles round trip, mostly flat, at an easy, conversational pace. You’re welcome to turn back earlier if you’d like, and regroup with us near the start.

This stretch is part of the Salmon Creek restoration corridor and offers a good example of how Vancouver preserved and integrated natural green space within the city, with views of wetlands, creek habitat, and restored riparian areas.
