East Vancouver Waterfront Walk

The walk begins around the scheduled start time at the Salmon Run Bell Tower in Esther Short Park.

I will arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early to socialize and help anyone who has questions or concerns. Newcomers are encouraged to arrive early so we can meet before the walk and I can introduce you to some of the people who are already there.

We will usually start walking between 2 and 5 minutes after the scheduled start time, depending on when the group is ready. When we leave, we will post the exact departure time in the event comments so anyone running behind knows when the group started walking.

From the Salmon Run Bell Tower, we will head toward the waterfront and walk east along the Columbia River. We will continue toward the Wendy Rose sculpture near the old shipyard area before turning around and heading back toward Esther Short Park.

Distance: about 2 to 3 miles round trip
Pace: easy and conversational
Surface: paved waterfront paths and sidewalks

This is an easy walk that is a good way to unwind, get outside, and clear your head in the middle of the week.

As always, everything is optional. Join when you can, leave when you want, and feel free to meet us anywhere along the route.
