Meet at the Bernie Road access point of Burnt Bridge Creek Trail at 10:00 a.m.

I will arrive about 10 to 15 minutes early to socialize and help anyone who has questions or concerns. Newcomers are encouraged to arrive early so we can meet before the walk and I can introduce you to some of the people who are already there.

We will usually start walking between 10:02 and 10:05, depending on when the group is ready. When we leave, I will post the exact departure time in the event comments so anyone running behind knows when the group started.

From Bernie Road, we will head east along the paved Burnt Bridge Creek Trail toward NE Hazel Dell Avenue. The trail follows Burnt Bridge Creek through wooded sections, wetlands, and open green space.

We will turn around at about the 2.5 mile mark for an approximately 5 mile walk. The route is mostly flat and we will keep an easy, conversational pace.

Difficulty: 2 to 3 out of 5. The trail itself is easy and mostly flat. The higher rating is mainly because of the approximately 5 mile distance.

As always, the walk is social first. Talk, listen, drift between conversations, or simply enjoy the trail. There is no pressure to socialize any particular way.

The group stays together and we adjust the pace as needed.

Please plan to arrive early. Once the walk starts, we will not coordinate late arrivals by message. You are welcome to catch up along the posted route or join us next time.
