Let's get a group out to see Toronto comic Jacob Balshin. He's been insta-posting his visits to odd places in Vancr, think quirky Denman Place Mall & random people's apartments. He's collecting material for his set, & I wanna hear it.

His blurb in the Rio calendar:"Jacob would like to note that he rented out the Rio Theatre on his own credit card. So come support a Canadian comedian who is truly trying to do this all on his own" He was named 1 of TO Stars top influencers.

The Rio is located a 4 min walk from Commercial Drive skytrain.

We’ll aim for seats 5 rows from the front. Maybe bring a jkt so you can leave it on your seat before you grab a drink/snack in the lobby. We'll head to our seats at 645ish. I'll post an update re our seat location in the Comments. Fun times ahead! :)

Arrive early if you'd like to sit with the group. The Rio often has long line-ups/takes time to get in the door.
