What we’re about

Vancouver Gaymers is a social group for Vancouver's LGBTQ+ geeks and gamers.

This group started back in 2009 by a group of friends meeting at local Tim Hortons and libraries. It has since grown into a group of people united by our love of gaming and geek culture. We hold monthly events that offer a safe space for LGBTQ+ people to be themselves.

This is a regular Digital Board Games night, now every second Wednesday night, hosted by the Vancouver Gaymers!
Newbies and veterans alike are welcome! Please feel free to come and watch to get a feel for the group, or dive right in!

Come play games with us and have fun. Bring your Switch games, and your favourite party board & card games to share with friends old and new.

We have the whole upstairs area just for us. When you come in, go up the stairs to the left and hang a right.

Please purchase at least one drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). If you don't, please approach the bar staff to leave a tip - we recommend $5.

This event is in a licensed venue, so be ready to show your ID (19+) at the door.

Drinks can be purchased at the venue. They do not serve food. You can bring in outside food if you get hungry.

Join us for a brand new event from Vancouver Gaymers.

Want to meet some new friends, play some games you may never have played, and/or enjoy a lovely evening in Vancouver without someone coming for your wallet this is the perfect night out.

While there is no cover charge for the location we do ask to spend at least $5 on drinks/food while you are there. If you do not want drinks/food then please put $5 in the tip jar. This is not mandatory but does help us establish good relations with the venue that helps us put on these kinds of free events.

If you want to bring a board game or two from your collection, we would be thrilled. We will have an area for the board games library at the venue. Though please label your board games in case there are duplicates.

We look forward to seeing everyone there and hope you enjoy a "pleasant" evening.
