Volleyball!

Sara is now the host for Tuesdays. Tuesdays are for advanced doubles ONLY. You must be advanced with an understanding of Beach Volleyball rules to play. Depending on the numbers, up to four players may need to sit each round.

The format is doubles with up to 12 players. Games to 15. In each round, eight people play, and up to four sit. There will be a winner's court and a play-in court. After each round, the losing teams will sit the following round and mix up partners. The winning teams will play against each other in the following round. After a team wins three games in a row on the winner's court, they will move off the winner's court and sit the next round, leaving the other team on the winner's court to stay and play.

We will pick teams based on rolling only in the beginning. After that, you will have to pick your teammate.

Please bring at least one ball and lines if needed by the group.

Players on the waitlist are welcome to come but understand you might not play.

The park has public restrooms and a play area for the kids. As we move into cooler weather, bring warm clothes, sand socks, and plenty of fluids to stay hydrated. Most importantly, have fun and be safe!

If you want to play, you MUST RSVP as space is limited. 'Walk Ons' will not be allowed to play, and if you have to cancel, also please do so as quickly as possible. Repeat 'no shows' may result in you not being allowed to sign up for future events. Please bring at least one ball and lines if needed.

As always, play is open to Members of the group or guests of Members at no charge. Guests (if allowed) of members must be accompanied by the member. Our level of play is INTERMEDIATE. Guests need to have a minimum INTERMEDIATE skill level or they might not be allowed to play. Please let your guest know of this before coming. The goal is to have fun and get some great exercise! Pala Park has 2 lighted sand courts, covered picnic benches, restrooms, a water fountain, and a play area for the kids. Bringing fluids is recommended. Look forward to seeing you out there!

Welcome to Saturday am volleyball!

If you are going to play, you MUST RSVP before showing up for the event (space may be limited). For now, the number of attendees is limited to 25. No 'walk-ons' please. Our level of play is Intermediate. Invited guests must also be at an intermediate level of play and must accompany the member to play. Bring lots of fluids to stay hydrated. There is plenty of shade, picnic tables for use, a drinking fountain, and restrooms are available. If you want to bring the kiddos it looks like the play area has been upgraded and improved. Attendees are expected to bring at least one ball and please bring lines in case needed.

The park is located off Pechanga Parkway, at the intersection of Temecula Lane and Canterfield Drive. Look forward to seeing you out there!
