Monday Intermediate 2's Sand VB - Pala Park

Mondays are for Intermediate Doubles players only. This is not for beginners or singles-style play. You must be comfortable playing structured doubles, understand basic beach volleyball rules, consistently control the ball (serve receive, setting, and controlled hits), and be able to sustain rallies — not just serve and hope for errors. If you are not yet confident in doubles positioning, communication, and ball control, this night is not the right fit.

Format:
• Doubles only
• Up to 12 players
• 8 players play each round, up to 4 sit (depending on numbers)

There will be a Winner’s Court and a Play-In Court.

After each round:
• Losing teams sit the next round and mix partners.
• Winning teams play each other the following round.
• If a team wins three games in a row on Winner’s Court, they must sit the next round. The opposing team stays on Winner’s Court.

Teams will be determined by a roll at the beginning. After that, players will choose their own partners.

Please bring at least one volleyball and court lines if the group needs them.

Waitlisted players are welcome to come but understand that playing time is not guaranteed.

The park has public restrooms and a children’s play area. As the weather cools, bring warm layers, sand socks, and plenty of fluids.
