Beach Hike To A Giant Salad - Padaro Beach to Lookout Park

Come join us for a 4 mile (round trip) hike along the beach from the Padaro Lane beach access lot north to Lookout Park where we will assemble a huge group salad and have a healthy lunch before retracing our route south. Hikers with birthdays on even dates are asked to bring some kind of "greens" for the salad (lettuce, kale, spinach, etc) and those with birthdays on odd dates are asked to bring something exciting to add to the salad (cherry tomatos, cheese, nuts, etc.). We will have salad bowls, utensils, iced tea and various salad dressings at the park, but if you have a favorite dressing or beverage, bring it along. There are picnic tables, restrooms and lots of grass for a post lunch nap at the park.
Meet us at our "meet up spot" next to the Tesla charging stations at The Collection at Riverpark in Oxnard for a 9 A.M. departure or, if you prefer, in the Padaro Lane beach access lot where we should arrive about 9:30 A.M.
