The Entrepreneur's Toolbox Series: 1. Entrepreneurial Mindset for Success

Details

'Entrepreneurial Mindset for Success' is the first in the Entrepreneur's Toolbox Series. Other topics in the series will include digital marketing, branding, business system modeling, social media marketing, leadership, financing, communication, innovation, marketing systems, the art of the start and more.

There's no more appropriate place to begin the Entrepreneur's Toolbox Series than starting with the subject of entrepreneurial mindset.

According to the Financial Lexicon, individuals with entrepreneurial mindsets are often drawn to opportunities, innovation and new value creation. Characteristics include the ability to take calculated risks and accept the realities of change and uncertainty.

My story: Risk taking had never been a problem for me until a few years ago when I hit a rock and lost everything I built. After almost two decades of owning a chain of bookstores, a hair salon, an arts and craft market, an online grocery delivery business and then a company that produced conferences in 5 countries, I lost the edge, the entrepreneurial mindset that I once took for granted. I became afraid and negative. It took 2 years and many battles within myself to come back again. I understand more than ever, without the right mindset, it doesn’t matter how talented you are, how much resources you have, how highly trained you are and even how much support you get from your friends and family, it’s all for nothing.

To succeed, we entrepreneurs have to cultivate a strong mind against what society feeds us: go with the flow, lay low and be safe. The first step to change the world or just to change your world is to train and shape your mind.

So how do you develop a strong entrepreneurial mindset that will pave the road to your success?

At this meeting, we will assemble a panel of 5 experienced business coaches and successful entrepreneurs to discuss the challenges and tribulations of the entrepreneurial journey and the ways to develop a strong entrepreneurial mindset for success.

Bring your challenges and lots of questions for the panel.

Join us at our first meeting!
