Vedauwoo Hike to Zoey Rock

Lets go hike Saturday afternoon!

Meet at the end of Road 719 (Happy Jack Recreation Area exit) (see map). We'll start the hike heading up Aspen Trail to Goat Trail and then onto Summit Loop. We'll take a break on Zoey Rock before heading down the hill along "Trail 0" where we'll eventually pass the beaver ponds along South Lodgepole Creek (see the route map in the photo section) before reaching the parking area.

It's a relatively easy hike along well used trails, with a gradual 900 foot elevation change up to Zoey Rock. The hike is a 6-mile loop, so it should take about 3 hours to complete.

Weather forecast calls for sunny skies, 20 mph wind gusts, and 47 degree temps. Bring a layer or two.
