Veg Society of DC (VSDC) is pleased to join with The Ark of Compassion (AOC) to co-host a Plant-Based Lunch & Learn on Saturday, October 11th at Pow Pow (H Street location).

Let's come together for food, curiosity, and compassionate conversation.

Talk Title: Hope in Action - How We Win for Animals
Speaker: Alka Chandra, VP, Laboratory Investigations Cases, PETA

Dr. Chandra will share the enormous progress already achieved in the fight for animal rights and the even greater possibilities ahead. Together we’ll explore how individuals and communities are reshaping industries, policies, and culture to recognize animals as the sentient beings they are.

This will be a message of optimism: every choice we make, and every voice we raise contributes to a more compassionate world. Together, we have the power to turn the vision of animal liberation into reality.
