MnSTA Conference on Science Education

The annual Minnesota Science Teachers Association (MnSTA) Conference on Science Education invited ARC to share resources with educators of all ages about alternatives to using animals in the classroom!

We will have a table with a variety of literature on dissection alternatives, resources for students to say no to dissection, information on keeping animals as "pets" in the classroom, and the realities of animal testing. We will also have real life models of a bullfrog and cat and a virtual reality set with a dissection program to show how effective the alternatives are.
