What we’re about
Welcome to the MN Animal Rights/Vegan Meetup (previously named ‘Minneapolis Vegan Meetup’) sponsored by the Animal Rights Coalition (ARC)!
ARC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works to end the suffering, abuse, and exploitation of non-human animals through information, education, and advocacy. This group was created to bring together the Minneapolis plant-based community and the animal rights community. We engage in both advocacy and social events to educate others about animal rights and veganism. Join us to advocate for animals at a peaceful protest, community outreach, leafleting, or Cuddle Coats Prep Session. Stop by our monthly volunteer meeting & potluck, dine outs, pop-ups or movie screenings to meet other vegans and like-minded people. All are welcome to attend ARC events! You do not need to be vegan or vegetarian or have previous experience advocating for animals. We hope to see you at an event soon!

Join us for ARC's monthly volunteer meeting!
We're kindly asking our volunteers to help us unload a truck of donations of the vegan game We're All Animals, which we will use in our Teaching Compassion campaign. There are two and a half pallets to unload and bring down to the lower level. This will not be heavy lifting. As a thank you we'll make sure you go home with a free game!
Afterwards we'll talk about staying motivated and connected as an activist community instead of hibernating during the cold winter months. Bring ideas for enhancing the ARC campaigns: Sink SeaQuest, Humane Blaine, Cuddle Coats, St Paul Shrine Circus, MN Renfest, MN State Fair Watch, etc.
Food and beverages will be provided but we would love if you could bring something vegan for the group to share if you are able!
All are welcome! You do not need to be vegan or vegetarian to attend ARC events.

ARC will have a table at Education Minnesota's annual MEA Conference at the St. Paul RiverCentre to talk to educators about using animals in the classroom for dissection, hatching projects, classroom "pets" and other forms of animal exploitation in the classroom.
We'll have a 3D cat and bullfrog dissection model on display in addition to educational literature that explains the benefits of using alternatives to animals in the classroom and where to find them.
