Broken Hearted PAWrents for a compassionate gathering dedicated to honoring and remembering our beloved animal companions who have crossed the rainbow bridge. This event is designed to create a safe and supportive environment for PAWrents to express their grief, share their stories, and find solace among others who understand their unique loss.
The session will begin with a gentle mindfulness exercise to help participants center themselves and open their hearts to the memories of their companions. We will then engage in meaningful discussions about the special bond shared with our beloved animal friends, encouraging everyone to share their feelings and experiences as much or as little as they feel comfortable.
To further our connection and healing, we will incorporate creative activities such as memorial crafts and journaling prompts to express our love and memories of our pets. Our facilitator, Rachel Augusta, is experienced in animal companion loss support and will share comforting strategies and insights to help navigate the emotional journey of losing a cherished animal.
Whether you are newly grieving or have been heartbroken for some time, this gathering is meant to remind you that you are not alone in your sorrow. Everyone is welcome, and we emphasize a respectful and confidential atmosphere throughout the session.
Join us as we celebrate the lives of our furry, feathered, scaled, or skinned friends, honor their memory, and support one another in our healing journey.
