Join us for ARC’s Monthly Volunteer Meeting and Potluck on Sunday, October 12, for a discussion on intersectionality in the vegan community.

Understanding intersectionality means respecting the fact that someone else’s reality may not be the same as your own, and that due to the complex ways oppressions reinforce each other, a one-size-fits-all approach to activism and movement-building just won’t work.

Let's discuss practicing intersectionality to support other oppressed sentient beings, not just animals and white people's purposes. What if we recognized the overlapping of oppression and fought to end all injustices, instead of ignoring some?

Bring a vegan dish to share if you're able.

Everyone is welcome β€” you don’t need to be vegan or vegetarian to attend. Just bring your curiosity, compassion, and willingness to learn!
