You’re in the grocery store with conventional bananas in your left hand and organic bananas in your right hand - which do you choose? Are you confused by the organic label? Is it healthier than conventionally grown produce? Safer? Better for the environment? What about for those who grew the bananas? The organic label is confusing and leaves many consumers questioning whether they are choosing the best option for themselves and their family or spending extra money just for the fancy label. Let’s end the confusion now.

Join Kelsey, who has a Bachelor's degree in Public Health and is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition from T. Colin Campbell's Center for Nutrition Studies, for an in-depth workshop explaining the ins and outs of organic farming. We’ll discuss the history of organics, the benefits and criticisms of the organic label, the environmental, social, and health impact, our current food system, and organics place in the world today.

Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be vegan to attend ARC events. Feel free to bring questions and be prepared to take notes.

This workshop was previously named, "Should I Buy Organic?" and contains the same material.
