VSDC Book Club discusses "Intimacies" by Katie Kitamura

Please join the Veg Society of DC Book Club discussion of "Intimacies" by Katie Kitamura. This meeting will take place online, via zoom.

Intimacies "tells the story of woman who, looking to chart a new path, travels to The Hague and starts work as an interpreter at the International Court. [She] becomes immersed in the international lives and complex sagas of those who share their stories with her.” - CNN (The New York Times called Intimacies one of the 10 Best Books of 2021.)

To participate you must read at least half the book—and RSVP at least two days before the meeting. People who RSVP yes will get the details to join the discussion (the weekend before the meeting). The details will not be posted on meetup.

The VSDC Book Club began meeting online in March 2020 (previously we met in vegetarian restaurants in DC or nearby Maryland or Virginia).
