VSDC Book Club discusses “Bewilderment” (online)

Please join the Veg Society of DC Book Club discussion of “Bewilderment” by Richard Powers. This meeting will take place online, via zoom.

Astrobiologist Theo Byrne searches for life throughout the cosmos while raising his (mostly) vegan son, who spends hours painting pictures of animals and is about to be expelled from third grade. The book raises the question: How can we tell our children the truth about this beautiful, imperiled planet?

To participate you must read at least half the book — and RSVP at least two days before the meeting. People who RSVP yes will get the details to join the discussion (the weekend before the meeting). The details will not be posted on meetup.

The VSDC Book Club began meeting online in March 2020 (previously we met in vegetarian restaurants in DC or nearby Maryland or Virginia).
