Celebrate World Vegan Day: VSDC Vegan Networking & Social at Botanical Bar

Celebrate World Vegan Day (November 1st) on Sunday, November 3rd, with the Veg Society of DC (VSDC) for a vegan networking and social event at the beautiful Botanical Bar in DC! Yes, we will also do a round of vegan trivia with prizes!

About World Vegan Day: It was created in 1994 to mark the 50th anniversary of The Vegan Society in the UK. November as World Vegan Month is a time to recognize how far the vegan movement has come, while always working towards our goal of a vegan world. World Vegan Month 2024 will mark The Vegan Society’s (UK) 80th anniversary.

The Botanical Bar will feature a special mocktail for the occasion! There is no fee to attend but PLEASE DO purchase an entree and drinks from the Botanical Bar (downstairs) or grab a bite from the DC Vegan cafe (upstairs). Everything is vegan.
Note: Both DC Vegan Cafe and the Botanical Bar are VSDC Green Rewards members so show your VSDC member card and get 10% off on food and beverages.

Additionally, if you would like to reserve a table in advance, please go to the following link and make your booking here (for the upstairs or downstairs).
If you don't book a table in advance, then please know you will be joining numerous others around the bar and other open areas.

This event will take place on Sunday, November 3rd, starting at 5 pm. Come then or come later - people will be there over the course of the evening.
