VSDC's own Saurabh Dalal is the featured speaker at the Pro-Animal Meetup (PAM) on Sunday, September 20. Saurabh will talk about the Veg Society of DC which is still going after 99 years. VSDC has the distinction of being the longest running veg organization in North America.

VSDC promotes an all-plant diet and vegan lifestyle through education, community-building, and social activities throughout the DC metro area.

PAM is weekly meetup where fellow animal lovers discuss what’s happening in the animal advocacy scene in DC. It features guest speakers from all of the major animals rights orgs. They host non-profits such as Pro-Animal Future, International Council for Animal Welfare, DC Voters for Animals, The Humane League, Mercy for Animals, Direct Action Everywhere, and the Veg Society of DC, as well as local grassroots groups like the DC Coalition Against Foie Gras and sanctuaries. They also have special sessions related to health, nutrition and mindfulness.

In addition to RSVPing on this page, it would be helpful to the PAM hosts if you sign up here as well: https://stampede.proanimal.org/events

Note: Unfortunately, animals are not allowed at the venue. Please leave your furry friends at home.
