What we're about:
Vegan Ladyboss welcomes women of all identities, expressions, and backgrounds, including transgender women, nonbinary people, BIPOC women, women who are immigrants, and women of all sizes and ability levels. We prioritize inclusion. Our members help us co-create an environment free from patriarchal values or hierarchies.
VLB was created as a safe space for members to gather and support one another and animal advocacy. We believe diversity makes us stronger.
VLB is NOT:
A place that supports or promotes misandry (i.e. a hatred of men).
A place to bring in people who are not yet vegan.
Only for people who are the "boss" at work. Boss is a state of mind - we are all the boss of our lives!
Only for people who are hetero, cis women. The "lady" in Vegan Ladyboss includes women of all identities and backgrounds. Moving away from patriarchy means making space for everyone.
You need to RSVP for all events you plan to attend. If you RSVP for an event and later realize you cannot attend, or your guest count changes you need to update your RSVP.
Please check with individual members before you photograph them. Feel free to take photos of food and places but not people without permission.
Do not personally solicit members or attendees for products, services or to join groups/organizations.
Your profile name should include your real first name or a nickname and not be a business name or advertising. Your photo should not be a business solicitation.
While at any of our events, you are responsible for your actions, any purchases you make, and any illness or injury you incur.
Do not make harsh, rude, or judgmental remarks to others in the group.
When you join any Meetup you agree to its policies and requirements. Please respect the few basic policies of the group and be kind to others in the group to remain part of it. :-)
