What we’re about
We're an online Meetup for vegans (and others heading in that direction) who'd like to participate in group meditations without the incongruencies often found in non-vegan meditation gatherings. Through meditation, our intention is to cultivate greater inner peace, and to bring more mindfulness and compassion to our interactions with the outer world and all beings.
Our meetings are 30 minutes, and typically start with 15 minutes of silent meditation (or listen to your favorite guided meditation), followed by 15 minutes of mindful sharing or discussion (talking is completely optional). All on the vegan journey are welcome – vegan, vegan-curious, and vegan-supportive. Please join us!

Please join us for a peaceful half-hour of vegan-oriented meditation and discussion. We’ll meditate together in silence for 15 minutes, then share brief thoughts on a vegan or mindfulness-related topic. Talking during the second half is completely optional, but we do ask all participants to keep their webcams on throughout the session to help reduce trolling.
When you arrive, you'll see a meditation timer already counting down from 15 minutes — that's your cue to begin meditating. If you're new to meditation or prefer guided meditation, check out VeganMeditation.org/guided

To help reduce trolling, you must be signed in to a Zoom account to join the session. Zoom accounts are free at www.zoom.us and you'll need to log in there BEFORE joining the meditation. If this is your first time, please register at zoom.us in advance because doing so takes a few minutes.

Please remember that keeping webcams on (and staying on webcam) during the session is required to help deter trolling. This is best done by joining via computer. If joining via phone app, please use a stationary mount.
