Thanksgiving Day Vegan Dinner Party in South Beach
We invite you to join us for our Thanksgiving Day potluck dinner party in South Beach! This event is being held at a rooftop condo with an outdoor terrace. Come and enjoy delicious vegan food & beverages and a cruelty free Thanksgiving! This event is more like a cocktail thanksgiving dinner than a formal sit-down dinner. We have a smaller condo with a nice sized terrace. We have seating for 25-30 people but invariably some people will be standing while eating. Before you RSVP, please stop and read these instructions all the way through. This party is not set up for children and animals. The Palm Beach Vegan Meetup holds a centrally located Thanksgiving Day picnic potluck each year that is kid, & dog friendly. https://www.meetup.com/PBC-VEG/events/255376441/ If you decide to attend BOTH Thanksgiving potlucks please remember to make enough food to bring to BOTH potlucks. This event fills up. If you find that you cannot attend, please be kind and cancel your RSVP so that others can attend. The event begins at 4PM with drinks, and we loosely plan to start eating at 5ish. Last year it worked out perfectly that guests arrived in waves, with each new wave of guests arriving just as the last dishes were finished. What to Bring: Please bring a dish that is vegan, which means that it contains no animal products (eggs, milk, butter, cheese, honey or any kind of meat). Please write the ingredients of your dish down on a recipe card for folks with food sensitivities (such as gluten, nuts, or salt). If your dish is Organic and/or Gluten Free please note that as well. Organic is great, but not required. This is Thanksgiving! so have fun and be creative with your dish!! Try something new or make your favorite vegan dish! If you absolutely do not like to cook, you will find lots of vegan fare at Whole Foods. You could order ahead. http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/online-ordering Or you could support your local vegan business by pre-ordering a platter or dessert. Please remember to bring a serving dish and serving utensils. (We hold on to them for you if you forget them at the end of the night :) When you RSVP please state what you are bringing. This way we can make sure that there are enough main dishes & desserts. What we're about

Many vegan groups exist to organize protests and other animal rights activities. I am ALL for that, and you WILL find some of that in Veganlicious, but our purpose here is primarily to BUILD COMMUNITY among vegans (and vegan-friendlies) in Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, South Florida & beyond. Through this community of friendship and mutual respect, we can then unite in compassionately educating the public on vegan health & nutrition, animal rights, & environmental sustainability.

Yes, my friends, even socializing makes the world a better place. To friendship!
