Laugh & Learn: Improv Practice with a Purpose

Details
Join us for an engaging and dynamic session of improv and skit practice—or simply come to watch and enjoy! 🎭
We're gearing up for our third annual improv show at the Glenwood Library this fall, where we'll creatively combine education on zero waste lifestyle topics with entertaining skits and improv. This practice session is open to everyone, regardless of whether you plan to perform in the show. No experience is necessary—everyone is welcome!
We use material that's vegan-friendly, meaning we steer clear of jokes about animal harm or cruelty. 🌱
Feel free to arrive late or leave early as needed; just drop a note in the comments to let us know.
We're thrilled to have Sol Aziz, a teacher with Washington Improv Theatre, joining us to guide the session. This focused practice will explore zero waste topics, using improv to engage and educate our audience in a fun and memorable way. 🌿 If you're interested in a general beginners' improv practice, Sol also offers sessions through the Rockville Vegans Meetup group.
Whether you're looking to hone your improv skills, contribute creatively, or simply enjoy the show, we invite you to be part of this exciting journey. Let's create something impactful together!
