4th of July Sailing & Vegan Potluck on the S.F. Bay

We're going sailing on the Bay, and you’re invited to join us!

We’ll be departing from Oakland Marina (where there is free parking). We'll sail through the Oakland Estuary, alongside the Embarcadero Cove, Jack London Square, and the port of Oakland, while enjoying the Estuary's colorful waterfront area.

From there, we'll sail under the Bay Bridge, towards San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. We’ll find a quite place to anchor either alongside Angel Island or Aquatic Cove Park in San Fransisco where we will have an amazing Plant Based potluck lunch on board the boat. After lunch, we'll sail a bit more and then sail towards and under the Golden Gate bridge, and then back to Oakland Marina.

Steve is a US Coast Guard Licensed Master. He has been sailing since age 10 (~40 years ago). Steve is also a commercial, Multi Engine, IFR rated pilot and used to teach flying (IFR/MEI).
